Stefanie Linden

Stefanie Linden has worked as a mental health provider for the past 16 years, providing counseling and therapeutic programming to children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. She has developed her skills as an outpatient therapist to address various populations, including adults with substance use issues and co-occurring disorders. She has gained experience across multiple settings, including inpatient substance abuse, private practice, and community-based environments.


Stefanie holds a Master of Arts degree in professional counseling from South University and gained her license as a Professional Counselor in Virginia in September 2016 and Georgia in August 2021. Over the years, she has also earned certifications, including Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Stefanie received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech University in 2000.

Stefanie utilizes various methods when working with clients, including Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality-Based techniques. Throughout her career, she has developed a holistic approach to working with others to ensure that her clients can work towards complete personal development. Stefanie dedicated herself to facilitating change in her clients, including helping them see their challenges and the various ways they can address them.


Stefanie is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Virginia Counselors Association. She continues to work towards learning new skills to grow within the counseling field by attending conferences and seminars focusing on treatment modalities, skills, and professional growth.
