Stefanie Linden,LPC, LSATP, CSAC

With over 15 years of experience as a mental health provider, Stefanie Linden specializes in culturally affirming therapy for Black women seeking emotional wellness, stress management, and support through life transitions. As a Black female therapist licensed in both Virginia and Georgia, Stefanie is dedicated to empowering women to overcome challenges related to relationships, career changes, motherhood, and grief.

Stefanie’s career includes providing individual therapy and counseling for children, adolescents, and adults across diverse settings, including outpatient therapy, inpatient substance abuse treatment, private practice, and community-based programs. She is skilled in supporting adults with substance use issues, co-occurring disorders, and those seeking holistic approaches to mental health.

Stefanie utilizes a variety of evidence-based methods, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Reality-Based techniques. Her holistic approach ensures that clients can work toward complete personal development, emotional wellness, and sustainable change. Stefanie is dedicated to helping clients recognize their challenges and discover multiple pathways to growth and healing.

She holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from South University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia (since 2016) and Georgia (since 2021). She is also a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSATP) and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC). Stefanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech University.

Stefanie is an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Virginia Counselors Association. She is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending conferences and seminars focused on the latest treatment modalities, clinical skills, and advances in culturally affirming therapy for Black women.
